JENNIFER CARSON-FOX - TENOR

Jen's life in singing began when her mum Lesley Carson (Lesley Carson the first, not Lesley lead or Lesley bass of the quartet, it can get rather confusing??) started her own barbershop chorus.
Having grown up listening to her mum sing in quartet and choruses never thought that it would be something she would grow to love.
When agreeing to join her mums new venture Jen had no intention of hanging around for very long, but being the loyal supportive daughter thought she'd help her mum out then jump ship!!!! and so over fourteen years later, Hmmm how did that go again?
After contracting the barbershop bug Jen began singing baritone in chorus.
Not too long after, Jens mum Lesley saw an opportunity for a young quartet, and so came the birth of New generation where Jen also sang Baritone.
Jen switched to tenor in a quartet re-shuffle in 2001 where Lorna joined to take on the baritone. Jen then switched to tenor in the chorus too.
Jen was a co-founder, assistant musical director, and tenor section leader in her last show choir, and has once again joined her mum and friends in founding the new group "Affinity Show choir".
In July 2010 Jen proudly became the musical director of Wigan based, small champion chorus Milltown sound.
She lives in New Mills with her gorgeous family, husband Tim, children Jack (15) and Megan (12), Gromit their chestnut pony (well he lives in his stable), border collie Bill and a host of rabbits, what more could she ask for!!)
Jen is the eldest of three, having two younger brothers, one of which (Glen) is married to Lesley who sings lead in the quartet.
She is a trained florist and helps run the family flower and wedding business. She loves her Job as she has a naturally creative flair. Jen styles and dresses two to three weddings and corporate events each week, often roping in the help of her wonderful quartet.
Unlike Lesley and Lorna, Jen hates shopping, well! unless it's for a good pair of shoe's.
Jen is a Capricorn and shares her birthday with Elvis Presley and her Nanna who's in heaven.
Don't waste your time telling Jen a joke, she never gets them, or if she does its usually three hours later!
